And so this is Christmas…

WHAT? AGAIN? ALREADY? Each year it seems to sneak around the corner faster than before, this “most wonderful time of the year”. And everyone is striving to make it the best one ever!

And so our little Keller troupe is trying to figure out what they could present to their audience this year. The list of options is long — or very short, depending on where you look at it. There are countless variations of Dickens’ “Christmas Carol.” Or a bucket full of kitschy to glitchy, well-intentioned heart warmers.

Is there no other way to let the Keller stars shine in winter? So, we’re setting out together to find our own best Keller Christmas show. Warts and all. But who is this “Schmidt” everyone keeps warning us about…?

Auditions

We need

Normally, at our auditions, we always say, “You don’t need to prepare anything.”

This time, however, everything is different! We want you to bring us something that you HAVE prepared and rehearsed and are willing to present to us. Which we will then incorporate into our Christmas show, “Schmidt Happens.”

It could be a sketch, one or more songs sung and performed by yourself, a dance number, a poem — it could be super creative and entirely your own. Maybe even a little outside your comfort zone. And it doesn’t even have to be directly related to Christmas!

BUT!  You have to confirm that you’ll be available for all show dates, and if we include the act in the show, then the number is also set — we’ll just polish it a bit together and put it into a framework (the Show!).

Stage, E-Piano and Amp will be provided during the audition.
